Welcome To Worship Life!

While technology is not common to me, I want to start a blog that will make my views on worship available to those who may be interested.  From the time I received Jesus until now I have had a passion for worship.  My life is an expression of devotion and worship to God as I seek to honor Him in everything I do.  At the same time, there is a major need for corporate worship of God by those who have come to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ,.

Consequently, I want to begin to share with readers what God's Word and Spirit have taught me about the nature and expression of worship.  Any sources I discover which are also contributing to our understanding of worship will be included.  I also intend to post recordings of worship songs I have written, whether audio or video.

Levi & Lyzette
First let me introduce my family.  I married my sweetheart, Lyzette, in 2007, after we meet while students at Glad Tidings Bible College. Lyzette is God's perfect compliment to me.  She is Congolese, but has been willing to make a home with me here in Uganda.  Before the Lord blessed us with our children, Lyzette was very active in various kinds of ministry.  She gave herself fully to it.  Now that she has children, she has adopted the same kind of passion for training them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  The Scriptures says a good wife is from the Lord.  For sure Lyzette is a good wife and she is from the Lord.  I'm blessed to have her as my life partner.

Dave with Mama Pam
In November of 2007 God blessed us with our first son, Dave.  He is a quiet, thoughtful, and often serious boy with great observation skills.  His brother was added to our family in July 17, 2010.  Levi was the name we gave him at the suggestion of my American mother, Pam Hunter.  Pam and her husband Paul have a deep love for Uganda and its people and serve here with Next Generation Ministries.  My grandmother was the one who raised me and provided for all my needs as I grew up.  Although my mother and dad were and are still alive, they never married and never took any interest in being my parents.

Levi, Lyzette, & me with Mom Pam
I had no model as a child for what a good husband or father would be like.  But, God in His faithfulness has granted me insight along with my hearts desire to provide for my children what I never had as a child.  I want them to live in a two parent home with a stability that allows them to grow to love the Lord Jesus as I have come to love Him.
